Multiple Positions Available

Are you an experienced female support worker or student nurse looking for casual part time work? If so, we are looking for people to provide support to our spinal injured and TBI clients to maximise their independence. You must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, rostered shifts which include weekends and sleepovers. If you have had recent experience in caring for spinal or brain injured clients, it would be a definite advantage.

Typical responsibilities include:
• high level of personal cares
• household management including meal preparation
• community outings evenings and weekends


Requirements:
• minimum Level 3 NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
• recent experience in caring for clients with spinal and/or brain injuries
• proven experience with hoist management
• current clean full driver's licence and confident in driving a mobility van
• computer literate and have access to the internet
• reliable and professional with a can do attitude
• have good communication skills
• be of average stature and height
• be eligible to work in New Zealand. Applicants on a working visa no less than 6 months remaining
