Penny Catley is a Partner of Baldwins Intellectual Property and a Director of Baldwins Law Limited. She is also a Patent Attorney registered to practise in Australia and New Zealand. Penny has over 25 years’ experience as a commercial intellectual property lawyer.
Penny has worked for clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education and information technology, and is currently President of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA).
For some years, Penny was on the Board of the not-for-profit organisation Dress For Success Wellington, an organisation empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional clothing and various development tools.
Penny has a passion for design, fine wine, food and travel, and she recently completed the Otago Rail Trail, albeit on an electric bike!
