Chief Executive

Jaimes was appointed Chief Executive of HealthCare NZ in April 2016.

Prior to joining HealthCare NZ Jaimes had been involved in the health sector in New Zealand for nearly 20 years working with a number of organisations including the University of Melbourne Business School, Lightfoot Solutions and St John – where he was Chief Executive for more than thirteen years. St John is contracted to provide front line Ambulance Services to more than 90 per cent of New Zealand, and also delivers a significant range of health related community activities.

Jaimes has also had governance roles in health, most recently as a DHB Board member on the Hutt Valley DHB.
