Resources and online support for families and whānau

Are you looking for help with your child’s challenging behaviour? At Explore we understand that life is busy, and it can be helpful to get some practical ideas as soon as possible.

Understanding and supporting your child’s behaviour

If you feel ready to make some changes right away, we have online courses that will help. This first course will show you how to work out what is happening for your child and help you identify some easy ways to change things.

This course is free and has been developed for parents, whānau and caregivers. It takes about 30 minutes to work through this course. You can then take as long as you need to apply the information and ideas to your child and situation.

All you need is a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. To access our online supports and get started, click on the link below:

As you work through the online course, you will be provided with a set of 3 forms. Links to these forms are availble within the course, but here is another link if needed: (insert link).
