Neuropsychological Assessments

Our neuropsychological assessments are designed to help clarify how a brain is functioning and what an individual’s strengths and areas of difficulty might be. It has two parts: an interview where the issues, concerns, and background information is gathered, followed by testing of various functions of the brain (called cognitive testing).

Psychological issues such as depression and anxiety can affect our brain’s performance, so you can expect to be asked some questions about your emotional wellbeing in the interview. After a face-to-face interview and testing, the clinician then scores and interprets the tests, and a report of the findings is usually written. A feedback session is then typically given to summarise the findings and provide recommendations.
